Carbohydrates, Lipids, Proteins, and Nucleic Acids

There are chemical compounds of living things, known as organic compounds known for the organization with organisms. The organic compounds are associated with life process which are the main focus of the organic chemistry. Among various types of organic compounds there are four major categories that are found in every living thing which are carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids.

Carbohydrates are commonly known as sugars and has two known claasification it could be monosaccharides which is composed of one molecule and the disaccharidesthat is composed of two molicules. One of the most important monosaccharide is glucose, a carbohydrate with the molecular formula C6H12O6. Glucose is important, because glucose is the common fuel of our body. It could be like octane in which is also a hydrocarbon. That is mostly used in fuels.

There is also lipids that are composed of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen atoms. they are also known as fats in the body.  It is just like methane, when you burn it produces carbon dioxide and also water. lippids are stacked energy in our body.  That is why we are required to have an exercise daily to burn our fat or our extra stored energy.

Proteins are known as polypeptides, an organic compound made from amino acids. It could be applied like butane a hydrocarbon, highly flamable and very unbalanced gas. That requires transport via pipeline. Proteins are essential to an organism it helps by giving  energy to our body.

And there is nucleic acids that are very large in molecules. They are nitrogen base chemicals. It is like propane a very futile compound in a organic specie. A living organism has two kinds of nucleic acid one is deoxyribonucleic acid and the other is ribonucleic acid. In conlcusion we could say that every major organic compounds can be used in daily life.
